I heart Veggie Grill <3

I apologize in advance that 1) I’m veering away from my typical beauty posts and 2) I’m reviewing a local, LA area vegan restaurant (’cause I know my readers come from all over the world) but I’m so beyond excited about this restaurant and I want you all to be aware of the amazing vegan possibilities regardless of which city you live in. If you don’t live in the LA area, I think you’ll still enjoy viewing my drool-worthy foodie pics.

Okie doke folks, if you do live in the LA area, get your keisters to The Veggie Grill! This vegan restaurant has burgers, salads, soups, desserts, etc. and it’s far from wholesome hippie food; it’s rich, sinful-tasting comfort food that’s affordable and quick.

Chill Out Wings $6.26 - YUM

Chill Out Wings $6.25

Okay, for an appetizer, I suggest you try these Chill Out Wings which come with tangy barbecue sauce and chipotle ranch sauce. If I wasn’t such a sophisticated eating out partner, I’d drink these sauces all by themselves – they are that yummy! These chicken wings are strikingly chickeny and I dare you to fool your non-vegan peeps with these. They are perfectly breaded and and textured like the “real” deal.

All-American Stack $8.95

This might possibly be one of my favorite sandwiches ever! The All-American Stack comes with grilled veggie steak, Thousand Island dressing, pickles, lettuce, tomato and it’s topped with crispy onion rings. It comes with a side of slaw but I substituted that out for some sweet potato Sweetheart Fries (with chipotle ranch). Now let me be clear this is not diet food.  This is hungry food. This food will satiate your rumbling tum tum and make meat eaters jealous. Why? Because it’s tastier than the “real” thing and eating vegan versions of meat decreases your chances of getting cancer, heart disease, diabetes and dare I say… impotency.

Grillin' Chicken $8.95

This Grillin’ Chicken sandwich is what my hubs ordered but rest assured I got my grubby lil’ hands on it and took some hearty bites. This sandwich has grilled chillin’ chicken, avocado, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cilantro pest and chipotle ranch on a wheat roll. In all honestly, it was delish but I liked my All-American Stack better. I think any sandwich that has onion rings will always come out the winner.  Again, the faux chicken tasted extremely chickeny and the pesto sauce on this sandwich was YUM.

Even though this isn’t a standard VBR post, remember that eating vegan food helps make you beautiful on the inside (your intestines will glow and your heart will smile)
