Jane Iredale: 24k gold is no longer just in your jewelry box

January 1, 2008By 2 Comments

Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics offer natural makeup in a variety of colors and shades . We all know that our skin absorbs a large percentage of what we put on it. Minerals versus chemicals – it’s an obvious choice. Mineral makeup is the future… it is also the present.

Ready to get excited about something new? Jane Iredale offers 24 karat gold dust – yes, that’s real gold in your makeup. You can feel like a fairy princess or the queen of Egypt on a daily basis with your gilded complexion.
Jane Iredale’s 24k Gold Dust comes in a variety of colors: gold, silver, bronze, pink, lilac, champagne and green. My personal favorite is the gold simply because if I’m gonna flaunt the 24k, I’m gonna flaunt it in all of it’s golden glory.
The gold dust is versatile and can be used along with your makeup, you can brush on your cheeks for a subtle glow, you can mix it with some moisturizer and use it on your shoulders and decolletté, or you can add it to some gel and work it throughout your hair.

You can purchase these precious metal, glitzy, glam powders individually or you can go crazy and buy the Gold Mine Kit featured on Jane Iredale’s website which contains six sparkly colors to mix and match. More sparkles, more fun!

Interesting Jane Iredale is postiviely reviewed in a vegan blog as her line is NOT vegan. Ingredients include: carmine; beeswax and or jelly; Lanolin. An actual vegan line is Arbonne, mineral makeup and skin care Swiss formulated, no parabens and no animal product. period.
